PADI DiveMaster / Marine Conservation Career Development Program MosselBay South Africa
If you go to bed dreaming about scuba diving and learning about the marine life that lives below, then perhaps you should consider a career in Scuba Diving paired with Marine Conservation.
A job in conservation and diving allows you to work outdoors, visit off-the-beaten-track destinations and pursue your passion for safeguarding the natural world.
Partner Marine Conservation with a PADI DiveMaster SCUBA certification and you have a winning combination that also allows you as a dive professional to work in the dive industry all over the world, paired with hands on experience with our qualified Marine Biologist for a complete introduction into Marine conservation !
PADI® and Project AWARE® are committed to saving the ocean together. This starts with proactively working to tackle key ocean threats like habitat destruction, climate change, overfishing, and land-based pollution. Divers are uniquely positioned to bring to the surface what is beneath the waves, acting as the first responders to help drive systemic solutions to press ocean conservation problems.
One of the key features of being successful in a conservation career is gaining practical scientific experience in the field. Participating in marine work experience abroad will set your resume apart and help focus your research interests. Moreover, it will give you a unique and diverse skill set that can be applied to any future job and best of all it all happens right here in Mossel Bay in the Garden Route, home of the Great White Shark !
